Experience the enchanting nature of Kandersteg - hiking in the heart of the Alps
Kandersteg is an idyllic Alpine village in the Bernese Oberland of Switzerland, offering unforgettable hiking experiences for experienced hikers. Situated at an altitude of 1,200 metres, the village serves as a gateway to the Alpine landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beautiful mountains, glaciers and old forest.
Hiking day trips. Five to six hours of hiking per day. We follow good trails, some days we use a gondola lift to get up the mountain more easily. We carry only the equipment needed for the day hike and a lunch.
We live comfortably in the centre of the village. Single rooms (double room on request) Dinners are included in the price for three nights. Breakfast and packed lunch on all days. On other evenings you can enjoy dinner in one of the many restaurants in the village.
