Steep fjords, beautiful mountains and valleys - There's a reason why Senja's nature is described as Norway in miniature. During the week we hike to the most beautiful mountain peaks in Senja. We stay in the fishing village of Mefjordvær, where we stay in a house in single or double rooms, you can choose. The house also has a terrace with a great view of the fjord.
We do day trips. The length is 6-8 h and the altitude difference is about 500 - 800m. In the morning we pack our hiking gear and travel by our own minibus (20 - 40 min) to the starting point of the hike. By doing day hikes we can combine comfortable accommodation, good food and choose the most suitable mountain peak for that day depending on the weather. Food is included in the price of the trip. After a hard trek, it is nice to relax and enjoy a prepared meal in a beautiful setting.
