Sea Kayaking Adventure in Northern Norway
Northern Norway is a dream destination for sea kayakers. The region’s majestic mountain cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and rugged yet beautiful islands create a unique environment.
We begin our journey in the village of Tonnes, where we spend our first night in a cozy cabin and enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. The next day, we head out to sea, with a route that winds between small and large islands. The islands' sandy beaches and the clear, green water provide the perfect backdrop for our adventure.
Along the way, we get a glimpse of the area's unique way of life and cultural history, as some of the islands are still inhabited. During the trip, we are partially at the mercy of nature, and there is not always shelter from the wind – which makes the journey exciting and reminds us of the importance of being properly equipped and having kayaking experience. We camp overnight and enjoy the peace and simplicity of Arctic nature.
Traveling to Northern Norway is easy. You can conveniently take a train or bus from Oslo to Mo i Rana, where we will pick you up and take you directly to the trip. Alternatively, you can fly to Mo i Rana.
This is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the northern nature and face its challenges safely with the guidance of an expert.
