Our destination Örö island is one of the pearls of the region. The Archipelago Sea of Southwest Finland offers open ridges and the rugged nature of the outer archipelago in the middle of thousands of small and large islands. With good luck, we can also see sea eagles during the trip.
The trip's starting and ending point is Rosala village, about three hours away from Helsinki. It is only a short distance from Rosala to the Archipelago National Park, which was established in 1983.
The trip is suitable for those who have already tried sea kayaking. We paddle for two days, 5 to 6 hours a day. After the day's paddling we have good time to set up camp, cook and enjoy nature.
Örö Island also has a restaurant if you want to eat good local food instead of cooking yourself. Restaurant 12" menu can be viewed at: visitoro.fi
